Job Description

Towards the end of May, Abacus House Clearance was contacted by a lady who needed a house clearance in Telford. The customer had called the team and requested a house clearance for her two bedroom terraced house in Telford, that she lives in with her two daughters.

She has lived in the house for over four years and the house was yet to be decorated properly, as she has found it hard to find the funds for the renovation. The customer and her boyfriend decided to take their relationship to the next stage and move in with one another.

Her partner thought it would be better if they cleared the house completely and redecorated the entire house. He had been living with his parents and decided it was best to leave his belongings at his parents house, rather than taking it all with him.

After a few months of planning and preparation, the customer phoned Abacus House Clearance for a house clearance in Telford. She told the Abacus team that everything was in place for their renovation, and that once we had cleared the house, the new furniture was arranged to be moved in.

She had moved all of the items she wanted to keep into her bedroom and said that everything that was outside the room could be cleared and disposed. These items were given by family and friends when she originally moved out, and were old and had no value.

We arranged the clearance for the requested date and arrived for when required. We entered the house and started by clearing and bagging up the smaller items, and loading them onto the van.

The larger furniture items were then lifted and were loaded onto the van, and the fully loaded van was driven to the nearest recycling centre for disposal. The customer was very happy with the clearance as it meant they could have the house cleaned and ready for when the furniture arrived in the following days.

This clearance did not take the team that long to finish, and was fairly straightforward for Abacus.
