House Clearance Birmingham

Abacus House Clearance was appointed to clear a three-bedroom semi-detached house in Birmingham, West Midlands. We were also asked to clear the garage and garden.

The owner wanted the property completely cleared so that it would be in perfect order for the next occupier.

Since the customer lived in London and travelled to Birmingham for the clearance, it was important for us to carry out the work to a tight schedule. This was not a problem for us, since we make a point of always arriving punctually and completing a job in quick time.

To speed up the work and since large quantities of items needed to be removed and disposed of, we contracted large skips to get the job done as quickly as possible.

The rooms were all heavily cluttered. In the sitting-room, we removed furniture, including large armchairs, a television set, old stereo systems, lots of ornaments from shelves and mantelpiece, a table, junk scattered on the carpet, and black plastic bags stuffed with items.

The main bathroom also contained a variety of junk, including clothes and a large trunk.

From the bedrooms we removed dressing tables, a television set, beds and mattresses, bedding and clothes, and various bits & pieces scattered around.

In the kitchen, we disconnected and removed the fridge/freezer, cooker and washing machine, disposed of rotten food in the fridge and in cupboards, and cleared lots of kitchen utensils as well as junk scattered on the floor.

Finally, we cleared a large amount of rubbish from the garage and garden.

The Abacus clearance team took the junk to the nearest recycling centre in Birmingham, and packed and delivered sellable items, such as ornaments, to local charity outlets.

We completed the house clearance in less than six hours.
