Abacus House Clearance were recently called to a house clearance in North Wales, where a lady needed us to clear her late father’s flat. Not only were we required to remove any unwanted furniture, but our specialist trauma cleaning services were also required.
The customer’s father had been living in the flat for many years and had acquired a large amount of furniture along with collectibles and clutter. Due to his immobility, the flat was fitted with mobility aids which we also needed to get rid of. The customer’s father had been very ill and deteriorated very quickly, and was found a few days after he had departed.
Although the customer was grieving, they wanted to begin the process of cleaning the flat as quick as possible and we were able to arrange a time and date to suit them. We were advised that any valuables and sentimental items had been removed, and that we could clear away everything in the flat. The customer had trusted us with the keys to the property as they did not want to be there for the process, and we were able to complete the entire job within 6 hours.
Disposal of Contents
This house clearance in North Wales was fairly straightforward as the majority of what we removed was furniture. But due to the flat being upstairs, our team had to collaborate together to transport everything downstairs and onto the van.
Once the majority of the contents were cleared, we were able to work on the trauma scene. With our expertise and specialist equipment, we managed to return the home back to its original state and any previous smells and stains were no longer present. During this house clearance in North Wales, we remained respectful and sensitive to the customer, ensuring that they did not have to deal with anything stressful or potentially upsetting.
