Last week Abacus House Clearance were called out to a house clearance in Brent, where a family of two adults and two teenagers were living for over 10 years. The landlord had called us as there were large amounts of furniture, food waste and debris to be moved, and he couldn’t clear it by himself.
The occupants of the house had stopped taking care of their garden and failed to maintain the house to an acceptable standard, so the landlord had given them an official warning that if they were to continue neglecting the home, they would need to move. Although the tenants improved on this, it had become clear that recreational drugs were being used and stored in the house which led to the landlord asking them to leave.
Unhappy with the result of their actions, the tenants went on to dump piles of unwanted furniture in the garden and pulled up the carpets without the landlord’s permission. They also left unwanted food out in the kitchen to rot and the debris from pulling up the carpets was left behind them. When we were called for this house clearance in Brent, we were able to arrange a time and date to suit the landlord and were able to arrange several vehicles to attend.

As we arrived to this house clearance in Brent, it was evident how much work was to be done as the furniture dumped was clearly seen from the road. We were advised by the landlord that we were to remove every piece of furniture, and with our large team of experts, we began to clear away.
To begin with, we loaded our vans with all the furniture that had been dumped, and went on to bag up any debris and small parts left behind such as lamps and crockery. Once we had cleared outside, we continued our house clearance inside and removed all food waste as well as cleared away any spoilage left from the carpets.
The customer was very pleased with the standard of work we carried out and said that he would recommend us to anyone in need of our house clearance services for the future.
