This is our Waste Removal service, part of Abacus. It's for rubbish that's already accessible: a pile in the garden, a cleared garage, leftover materials after a renovation. You only pay for the volume we take away — you're not paying for a full-day clearance team you don't need.

Prices are by volume, with loading time included. If a load turns out bigger than agreed, we tell you and adjust before we take it — never afterwards.

Extra labour over the included time is £15 +VAT per 10 minutes. Some items carry a set disposal charge (fridges, freezers, mattresses, POPs upholstery, plasterboard, paint, tyres, gas bottles, pianos) — we tell you these upfront. Full load of soil/concrete up to 14 cubic yards £175 +VAT.
Two things can add to the load price above, and we always tell you about them upfront — never as a surprise once the van has arrived. The first is extra time on site; the second is the cost of disposing of certain items legally and safely.
Each load includes loading time — Minimum 5 minutes, Small 10, Mid 15, Large 30, XL 45 and XXL 60. Where a job needs longer than the time included, extra labour is charged at £15 +VAT per additional 10 minutes.
A handful of items carry a set charge because they have to be treated separately at a licensed facility — fridges need degassing, upholstered furniture is classed as POPs waste, plasterboard must be kept apart from general waste, and so on.

All charges are +VAT. If any of these apply to your job, mention them when you ask for a quote and we'll include them in the price from the start.
You'll see very low "from" prices around. £35 is usually the cost to take a single item — one chair, a couple of bags at the kerb — not to clear a real load. Our honest minimum is £70 +VAT for up to a cubic yard, with the price you're quoted being the price you pay. No drip-fed extras when the van arrives.
Moved house, cleared a loft, dismantled a shed, finished a renovation? We take away fridges, sofas, cookers, carpets, mattresses, old furniture and garden cuttings — and leave you a tidy space.
Old desks and office furniture in the way of a revamp? We can work after hours or at the weekend, when the building's empty, so your business keeps running.
Site rubbish slowing you down? We take bricks, wood, plasterboard, rubble, soil, timber and metal — and help your team load, so you can get on with the build.
