A beautiful family property needed to be cleared ready to be sold after the eldest member of their family (and the last one to live in the property) sadly passed away. Various members of the family had visited the property and gathered precious keepsakes and mementos and kept the team laughing by recalling their happy and mischievous childhood memories growing up in the property. With so many barns, sheds and outbuildings on the land — it must have been one long game of hide and seek for the family!!
One of the cellar rooms had become a music room over the years with an upright piano to be removed and storage for hundreds of records built out of heavy stone to be cleared and dismantled.
There were also layers to the barns and outbuildings with most being two storey and some with a mezzanine as well. This was a very interesting property to get to explore for the team and they, like the family selling it, just knew that the next family to move in would be very happy and make wonderful memories here also.
Our team enjoyed the two days spent clearing the house and grounds and despite there being a lot of heavy items to remove, the clearance only needed three loads.

The owner contacted us to clear a 2 bedroom first floor flat and the connected loft in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Each room was full of the everyday life items you expect to see in any home — sofas, tables, books, beds, kitchenware and lots of things to be cleared from inside drawers, cupboards and wardrobes. We were asked to leave the white goods and carpets at the property for the new tenants. Even with the slightly narrow stairs to navigate, the whole flat was done in half a day.

We were tasked with clearing an extremely verminous 3 bedroom first floor flat in Bainbridge, Richmondshire. The former occupant of the property tragically suffered with their mental health. The property was packed from floor to ceiling in some rooms with decaying rubbish and food waste while other areas of the property contained hundreds of bags containing human faeces and urine. We were also tasked with removing every single item of furniture and other belongings from the property which had all been infected by rats and other vermin. In total our two teams must have filled over 2,000 waste carrier sacks in clearing the property. In all, the clearance took two full days.
