3 bedroom terraced house loft and shed












We were contacted by a local solicitor who was acting on behalf of their client who lived in another country and had been left the property and contents of a relative who had sadly passed away. Their client was unable to travel to the UK due to work commitments and needed a company to search the property for personal documents, photographs and any forms of identification which could then be kept with the solicitors until the client travelled to the UK and the rest of the property cleared.
Alongside paperwork and the requested items, the team found a purse, some silverware all neatly kept in shoe boxes in the wardrobe, a jewellery box and some cash which we packed up for the solicitor's client. The house contained the usual things such as beds, kitchenware, wardrobes, bric-a-brac, general household junk, TVs, bedding, tables and many other items, and although a tad messy, it had been kept very clean. The person who lived there clearly loved books (by the sheer quantity that were in the house) and the team was pleased to be able to arrange for these to be donated to various charities.
With the time needed to thoroughly search the property, this piece of work took longer than the 'usual' clearance. Three days, and four loads later, the items that could be donated had been, the items that needed to be recycled had been and the team delivered all paperwork, identification, cash, jewellery and other items of value they had found to the solicitor's office. The solicitor's client sent such lovely feedback about the work done once they received the completed pictures and were informed about everything we had found for them in the property, the team were so touched!
