A few weeks ago, Abacus House Clearance were called by a couple in need of a house clearance service in Lambeth. After living in the property for over 20 years and their children moving out, they had decided to downsize as maintaining a property of that size proved to be difficult. After many years in the house, they had collected many furniture items and hoarded lots of home accessories.

The couple had wanted to move house and start afresh by purchasing new furniture, so they needed us to take away anything that they didn’t want. They were in a rush to get everything removed from the house so that they were able to redecorate in preparation for resale, as the painter and decorator was due within the following few days.

When arriving for this house clearance in Lambeth, we were shown what we could take and what was to be left behind. The client had marked all items to stay with masking tape, which made clearing everything else much easier. We were advised that if we were to find any important documents or sentimental items, to return them to the client which we did immediately.
