We were contacted a couple of weeks ago by a lady whose uncle had sadly passed away, he lived on the 9th floor of a private block of flats and she had inherited the property. She told us that she was not close to her uncle and had never visited his flat before as she did not live in Aylestone, when she received the keys she was shocked to find how he had been living. She explained that the property was in a bad condition with rubbish, old food stuff and clutter throughout the property. She asked if we could take out the kitchen units and sink as it was beyond salvaging and clean the property afterwards as she intended to fully renovate the flat before putting it on the market for sale.

We arrived at the property at 8am expecting a long day ahead of us, whilst the property was cluttered with papers, bottles, cans and bags it was not verminous. We started by bagging up all the loose rubbish and stacked it all in the lift to the van, then we cleared all of the furniture and bulky items from the flat, the clearance was completed by midday giving plenty of time to carry out a thorough clean throughout the flat.
