The customer asked us to clear a 2 bedroom house in West Bridgford, Nottingham. The property belonged to our client's mother who was 80 years old and had taken ill over six months ago and had been in hospital since, her daughter said she was not able to return to her house as she needed 24 hour care, therefore she needed to sell the house to help fund her mothers care fees. She told us that family and friends had already been to the house to take mementos and anything that could be of use to the family and she herself had taken all personal belongings for her mother. She told us that her mother had been a volunteer for the British Heart Foundation and that she would like as much useful furniture and items to be donated here on her behalf.
There were plenty of donatable items from the property, which we happily transported to the local BHF shop for our client and her mother and located the details for the healthcare service who had provided a fair few medical aids that were still in the property. The healthcare provider was so grateful we had called to enquire how to return these items, as they said many people don't realise these can be cleaned and then re-used by other people in need. They asked for us to leave the medical aids outside the front of the property for them to collect later that day.
Two loads recycled and one load for donation - all completed in one day!

We were brought in to clear a 2 bedroom bungalow and garage in Beeston, Nottingham, the property belonged to our client's father who had recently moved in to a nursing home in Beeston and could not take everything with him. Our client stated that she moved away many years ago and due to work commitments she would not be able to attend the house on the day of the clearance, however, a lot of the furniture and general clutter had already been cleared and it was mainly the garage which was left to clear. We had everything cleared in under ninety minutes. Unfortunately there was nothing fit to be reused and donated, everything we cleared from the house and garage was taken to our recycling facility, there were some mobility aids such as wheelchair, commode, walking sticks which our client said her father was given on loan from Nottingham NHS centre and needed to be returned to them so before completing the clearance we checked with our client where the NHS Centre was in Nottingham and dropped them in when we completed the job.

We were tasked with clearing a small 1 bedroom flat within a residential nursing home complex in Sherwood, Nottingham on behalf of a customer whose mother had left the home to move into a new residential nursing home closer to her family. The job consisted of a full clearance removing and disposing of all unwanted items then a quick clean of the flat before transporting a few personal items and choice pieces of furniture to the new accommodation for the customer. The whole job was done in under three hours.
