The customer was in the process of renovation and needed his bedroom, living room, dining room and garage cleared. They have been living in the house for over 3 years and the house had yet to be refurbished with brand-new furniture and furnishings. He and his partner decided to start renovating the main bedroom, the living areas and the garage, that was full of old and unwanted items.

When calling for a house clearance in Retford, the customer informed the team that the important items that were being kept were to be moved into the other rooms of the house, so that we could go straight in and clear the unwanted stuff. He said that most of the items could be disposed, and said it was our choice whether to have them donated to charity.

Disposal of Contents: On the day of the clearance, Abacus House Clearance arrived at the house for 9am, and began clearing the unwanted belongings. We started by clearing the smaller items, splitting them into two separate piles, bagging them up and loading them onto the van.

We then lifted the larger pieces of furniture and loaded them on the van, ready for disposal. With the van full up we headed to the BHF, a charity that is very close to Abacus House Clearance. The customer was very happy that we donated some of their possessions, as it could be of value to someone else.

We then drove the remaining items to the nearest recycling centre, where they would be disposed. This house clearance in Retford took a total of three hours, and was very easy and simple for the team.

Clearing the house allowed the customer to have the rooms clean and ready for when the flooring was laid, the room being decorated and the furniture arriving.
