Job description: We were appointed to clear a 2,000 square feet 2 floor office and to remove all fixtures and fittings in the City of Westminster, London. The removal of the fixtures and fittings included a reinforced cash counter, two suspended ceilings (upper and lower floor) with all lighting, wiring and metal frame also removed, 7 stud partition walls and various other fixtures and fittings including the carpet tiles. We also had to remove over 20 heavy MDF shelving units, over 10 reinforced office work stations, 3 safes that weighed 1.6 tonnes collectively, 6 filing cabinets huge volumes of files, office paperwork and various other office junk such as desk chairs as well as computer equipment. Bringing our van and trailer with us due to being unable to use skips on what was a busy road, we made 4 separate trips to the recycling centre disposing over 10 tonnes of waste. With 5 men on the job the property was cleared and stripped in 3 full days.
