Job description: We were appointed to clear a 500 + room high school in Hamilton, Glasgow for South Lanarkshire City Council who gave us a remit of 7 days to complete the job. Abacus took a team of 12 men to Glasgow along with 4 of our vans and a caravan. The team remained in Glasgow for the full 5 days to get the job completed. We used our vans to load and remove all recyclable material on a daily basis and hired in skips for the general waste. Work commenced at 6.00am in the morning until 10.00pm at night every day to full completion of the job. We removed, dismantled and recycled desks, chairs, filing cabinets, computers, heavy machinery, electrical appliances, cardboard, paper, scrap metal and various other articles of waste, over 300 ton all told.
