Occasionally we will do free house clearances.
Occasionally we do free house clearances if there are items in the property we can sell, when we say items we can sell we do not mean modern items like new washers, freezers, furniture etc., there is no market for secondhand modern items, Ikea killed the secondhand market, why buy a bed or a wardrobe from a secondhand shop when you can get a one brand new from Ikea for the same price. (Unfortunately we now live in a throw away society)
We will clear a property if there is Antique or Collectible items in the property which we can sell on to cover our labor, tipping, fuel cost etc.
Look at the photos of the property below, we cleared this property for free as we were able to sell a lot of the items from the house.
Both Abacus and the customer were happy with this arrangement:
Tipping fees cost Abacus over £2400 but we recovered the cost of tipping and labor by selling any antique items. The property below consisted of over 20 rooms in total to clear.
